Hooked
Hooked is a precision platformer where you use your grappling hook to manoeuvre through a beautiful 2D Pixel art world.
We advise you to play the download version as the web version has long loading times and doesn't run as smooth
Controls:
- A and D to move
- Space to Jump
- LMB to use the grappling hook
- F11 to toggle Fullscreen

Install instructions
- Download the .zip file
- Create a folder and unzip the .zip file in there
- Create a Desktop shortcut to hooked.exe
- Never worry about Updates again

Beautiful art and style!
I ran into something in my short playthrough that I think is significant, and is a big thing implemented in a lot of good platformers. "Coyote TIme," where if you hit the mouse just as, or slightly after, you hit the end of a platform, you still get a jump. This was used in celeste and it helps the player to not feel "cheated" out of what looks like a good jump.
We actually already have coyote time. Maybe it's a bit short... ๐ค I'll definitely look into it further. Thanks for your feedback!
Sorry I should have figured you did something like it, wasn't trying to be rude. I was running across several platforms and kept hitting space at what I felt was the edge but the input wasn't read at all. Not used to keyboard controls though, that might be part of it.
